Tempe St. Luke’s Hospital is an 87-bed acute-care hospital in the heart of Tempe. The state-of-the-art medical facility provides a comprehensive range of health care services, including emergency, maternity, advanced surgical procedures, wound care, pain management and diagnostic imaging in a caring, community-hospital atmosphere.

Part of nonprofit Banner Health, Banner Desert Medical Center and Cardon Children’s Medical Center provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services for adults and children. The medical campus is one of the largest and most comprehensive in the state of Arizona and serves as a tertiary referral center for the East Valley of metropolitan Phoenix. Centers of excellence for Banner Desert Medical Center include high-risk pregnancy and neonatal care, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiovascular disease and cancer care, while also supporting community health care needs such as surgery and emergency medicine, adult acute care, pulmonary medicine, renal disease and rehabilitation.

Cardon Children’s Medical Center is a dedicated pediatric medical center offering comprehensive care, including general pediatrics, intensive care, neonatal intensive care, a specialized pediatric emergency department, outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation and other specialized services for specific childhood diseases, such as cancer care, heart care and diabetes. The medical campus sits on an 80-acre site on the corner of Dobson Road and Southern Avenue at the border of Mesa and Tempe and serves residents of all East Valley cities and outlying areas.
