Our next challenge, Let's Get Social, starts Monday, March 18. It consists of four tasks that you will be assigned on a weekly basis. Each task will require two hours or less to complete and is specifically designed to bring you closer to understanding how social media can help you to accomplish your overall business goals.

What to Expect

This 30-day challenge, "Let's Get Social" is all about how to use social media to market your business and grow your audience. It consists of four tasks that you will be assigned on a weekly basis. Each task will require two hours or less to complete and is specifically designed to bring you closer to the overall objective of the challenge. Full instructions and info on the week's task will be posted at 10 am on Monday of that week. For now, you can sneak a peek of upcoming tasks in its corresponding section.  See the course outline below.

Challenge Objective

The overall goal of this challenge is to create an extraordinary social media strategy for your business. That means you’ll have goals and objectives for your social media posting, plus you'll learn what to post and on which channel. After completing the four weekly tasks, you'll have a clear understanding of how social media can help you to accomplish your overall business goals. Woohoo!

Week 1: March 18 - 24 - Build a (for-real) social media strategy

Task 1 Objective: A key part of being successful with social media is knowing which goals and targets to set for yourself. This week we will focus on getting as much value as possible out of the time you put in to social media by establishing a mission, goals, objectives, and target audiences for your social media strategy.

Task 1 Outcome: You'll have a complete plan for what, when and where to post your content to achieve your business goals through social media.

Week 2: March 25 - 31 - Get your biz on Facebook 

Task 2 Objective: With more than 1 billion people actively using Facebook every day, it is essential that your business is there. This week we'll guide you through the process of finding new audiences, setting a budget, and creating effective content that will increase your brand awareness, drive traffic, and ultimately grow revenue.

Task 2 Outcome: You'll have a boosted Facebook post and sponsored ad to gain more likes, leads, sign ups or money.

Week 3: April 1 - 7 - Discover the secrets of LinkedIn

Task 3 Objective: LinkedIn is the most professional of the major social media platforms and is largely focused on B2B connections, which means it should be a big part of your social media strategy. This week we'll reveal the hidden opportunities within LinkedIn and how it was responsible for more than 80% of one business' social media leads.

Task 3 Outcome: You'll have new connections that are linked to your overall goals and objectives, plus you'll be on your way to increasing your credibility and displaying your passion and insights to the community.

Week 4: April 8 - 14 - Mix it up- Instagram, YouTube & the video revolution

Task 4 Objective: Online video has exploded over the past few years and consumers can't get enough of it. This week the task choice is yours, but all of them utilize video as the star of the show. 

Task 4 Outcome: You will have a sweet video that can be used on Instagram, YouTube or any social channel to integrate into your social content strategy.
