Author: Ayrianna Drayton

The Tempe Chamber of Commerce today announced a new young professionals committee, FUEL, to its members. The Tempe Chamber FUEL Committee was formed to engage chamber members ages 21-39 in a new and innovative way which focuses on four key objectives: foster, unite, engage, and lead.

“The Tempe Chamber formed FUEL as a way to enrich our community by uniting and developing our young professionals,” said Anne Gill, President/CEO. “Through this program, young professionals will build relationships, develop personally and professionally, be active in philanthropy and contribute to the economic development and high quality living in Tempe.”

The committee’s mission to empower young professionals as stewards of the business community through professional development while enhancing personal networks to foster Tempe’s current and future business leaders will be executed through:

  • Fostering community engagement with Tempe non-profit organizations
  • Uniting young professionals to develop business relationships
  • Engaging Tempe’s business and community leaders
  • Leading Tempe to a vibrant future through professional development

The FUEL Committee will be having its first networking mixer/open house on January 28th from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Varsity Tavern. We encourage all of our members to register by visiting this webpage.
