The Tempe Chamber of Commerce represents more than 650 businesses who employ nearly 70,000 people. For more than a century, the Tempe Chamber has been dedicated to sustaining Tempe’s quality of life and keeping our community and economy vibrant. The Tempe Chamber develops policy on key federal, state and local issues and influences legislation and other public policy decisions. The Tempe Chamber creates a strong voice for the Tempe business community, improves and enhances the business climate, and furthers Tempe’s quality of life through a strong economy.
The East Valley Chambers of Commerce Alliance is a coalition of the Chambers of Commerce of Apache Junction, Carefree Cave Creek, Gilbert, Mesa, Queen Creek, Scottsdale and Tempe seeking to represent the interests and needs of the businesses within the region. We are among the largest business advocates in the state.
Annually, the EVCCA comes together and publishes a legislative agenda laying out it’s policy positions, and a report card tracking the previous votes of state legislators on relevant policy.
The current legislative agenda and report card can be found below.
“The Tempe Chamber has one of the most robust advocacy and political programs you’ll find in a chamber of its size, or any size really.” -- Jennings Imel, Western Region Director, U.S. Chamber of Commerce
